Maque Falgas

Lobur, Turkana

My name is Maque Falgas, and I have been lucky enough to live in the Lobur Mission since 2011. In my time here, I have worked on different projects, mainly in water and agriculture.
In 2016 and after living here for 5 years I was finally able to start building the school in Lobur for the children in our mission.
I am in charge of the day to day running of the school, coordinating the project, and looking for funding to make this dream possible.

Pedro de Lacy

Madrid, Spain

Hi! I work at Globeducate in the M&A department. GE is one of the largest education groups in the world.
In Tamaisan, I’m in charge of the Business Plan, securing funding, and managing relationships with benefactors. I also travel to Turkana as much as possible. In 2016 I spent almost 2 years living there where I worked on the development of the Lobur Health project with its mobile clinic.

Lola García-Conde

Madrid, Spain

I'm Lola, I work at Colgate-Palmolive in the Marketing department. My role in the Tamaisan project is mainly to assist St. Irene in its communication, marketing management, and the creation of social networks to expand this community. The goal is to create ECO for this project. I travel to Turkana to see how our school is doing whenever my schedule allows me to do so.

We work through 2 organizations

Public association of Christian faithful of the Catholic Church, made up of priests and lay people from different parts of the world.

Our charism is to live the spirituality of Christ the Good Shepherd, promoting the missionary spirit with the style of the Apostle Saint Paul and with a universal vision of the Church.

NGO for development cooperation and social assistance founded in 2008.

They saw the need to act in the areas of human development and sustainable communities in Africa.

They are currently operating in Kenya, Sudan, Malawi and Ethiopia.
